STEP 1: Send me your photos.

STEP 2: Pay the deposit.

STEP 3: Your painting is hand delivered in 2-4 weeks at which time the balance is due.

• Choose the photo to be painted and the canvas size you would like (* please see sizes below.)

• Send me two to four large, clear photos by Email or Text. (**please see notes below.) We will then discuss your vision for the portrait and when you need it in hand.

• When you are ready to move forward with the commission, please pay a $50 deposit either in person or right here at the link titled - "Pay deposit here to secure your commission" The non-refundable deposit of $50 secures your booking so your commission becomes official and will be scheduled.

• I will notify you by email when I begin your painting. You can expect the finished artwork within 4 weeks of the start date. Kindly note, the 2-4 week turnaround time begins on the day you receive notification, not at time of the deposit. This depends on how many commissions are before you.

• Art will be hand-delivered to you at which time the remaining payment is due by cash or check.

I am currently only accepting commissions for local customers and I do not ship artwork at this time. Please email me with any questions.

**Selecting Photos:

I will work mainly from one photo but will refer to a few other photos to ensure the color and detail captures the true personality of your animal.

Please submit high resolution, sharp photos where the details of the fur are visible. Good lighting is very important, you want to see a range of light, medium and dark values. Natural light is best! If you happen to have a smart phone with Portrait Mode, choose that for a beautiful result.

The more detail and better lighting you can provide me in the reference photos, the more striking your painting will be!

All art is delivered unframed. I do not offer framing at this time. The square canvases are NOT meant to be displayed with a frame as they have deep 1 1/2" painted sides. This type of canvas has a nice clean look that fits well into both modern or traditional settings. The 8" x 10" and 11" x 14" canvas look very well with a frame.

8" x 8" x 1.5" - $150 (simple background) or $175 (complex background)

8" 10" x .75" - $150 (simple background) or $175 (complex background)

11" x 14" - $175 (simple background) or $200 (complex background)

11" x 14" - $225 (2 pets, simple background) or $250 (2 pets, complex background)

Copyright: When you commission an artwork, you own the original artwork and reserve the right to display the physical artwork in your home, office, or business. The artist retains the intellectual property rights and reproduction rights to any and all artwork produced. This includes and is not limited to the means of resale through prints and merchandise. The purchase of intellectual property rights to the artwork is firmly unattainable and is non-negotiable.

Portrait commissions will be accepted with a $50 booking fee (non-refundable once painting has begun) to secure a position on my waiting list.
